I apologize if this is the wrong board for this question, please move if I'm in the wrong spot.
How far in advance to I need to make reservations for the restaurants at Citywalk. We are going to Orlando at the end of April, we're not doing Disney or Universal but we want to eat at The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium. We got a reservation but it's early. I'd like to do more of a prime time dinner, 6:30 ish, but 5:00 to 8:30 is blocked off which I assume means it's full. WE are going again in October, how far out do I need to try to get a reservation to get the more coveted dinner time slots.

I would do it now. You can always cancel without penalty if it doesn’t end up working for you.

HHN will happen 5:00 to after midnight in October
You have a decent chance of booking Toothsome for a prime time dinner.
Check and see if you can book that Oct dinner soon.

Some peeps will leave the UO park when it closes at 5:00 and dine at City Walk while others will wait and stay at City Walk for shopping

Thank you all for the responses. How far out can you book. I’m more of a Disney expert, or used to be. I know WDW used to be 180 days. Can you do that far out at Toothsome.

We booked many of our reservations through open table.
You can book some of them online directly through the restaurant, but most are available in Open Table. we booked ours at least 60 days out.

We're going next week, and booked all of our reservations a while ago, except some that I booked yesterday. Our Toothsomes night UO/IOA are closing at 6, I assume for a private event, so I think the waitlists at the restaurants for folks without reservations will be quite long, since people won't be able to dine in the parks.
