Reservations at 7 months for grand villa for Aulani

I would like to book a ocean view grand villa during the third week of Feb at 7 months. Do I have a chance?

We successfully booked one for Christmas week in 2019. I set up and started walking the reservation VERY early (like at least a month) and ended up getting all the days I wanted. The only night that was locked out by 11 month owners was Dec 31st, but that was OK because that was the day we flew home.

Make a reservation today for Feb 13 through Feb 20. Then everyday at 8 AM modify it by making the check-in and check-out dates 1 day later, until you have the days you want.

About 2 weeks ago I booked 11 days for 3 bed grand ocean view for the week before and after halloween this year.

We ended up with a wonderful 10-day trip to Aulani in a Grand Villa over Christmas 2019. While walking at 7 months is not guaranteed to work (and would not have gotten us New Years Eve, even if I had wanted it) it will improve the chances of getting the days you want. If you wait until exactly 7 months before your check-in day, other owners of non-home resort points might have already grabbed the days you want.

You should be fine at exactly 7 months out. They cost enough points that you can't really casually grab one.
