Reservations and Multiple Trips

I have 2 trips booked right now for five days each. I made park reservations for the second trip as it is the week between Christmas and New Years. When I tried to make park reservations for the first five day trip it only allowed me to make park reservations for 2 of the five days saying we reached our limit of seven days of reservations.As I may cancel my first five day trip and make a new reservation after the Christmas week trip. How can we book multiple trips if there is a seven day max limit? TIA Stay safe and healthy

The system is very glitchy right now especially if you are using APs.

I have APs and 2 DVC resort stays and was only able to get my park passes for my Aug/Sept trip but not my April trip. Frustrating.

I am not the OP, but here is how it worked for someone who is not using an AP.
I have a 7 day ticket and a 6 day ticket linked to my account and have 11 nights of resort reservations. The system also only let me book 7 days of park reservations.
Interestingly when I only had the 6 day ticket linked, the system let me book 4 days in Nov and then 2 days in March, then said I had reached my limit, which made sense since it was only a 6 day ticket. However, since it expires 14 days after first use (it is an old MYW ticket) I was surprised it let me make any park reservations in March.
After I added the 7 day ticket, it let me make one more day of park reservations (for a total of 7) and then said I had reached my limit, even though I had 13 days of tickets.

I don't seem to have a 7 day limit, our days seem to be limited by the length of the ticket. Unfortunately it seems I do have a single ticket limit. Even though I have multiple tickets per person, some which are from this year and some that are no expiration tickets and comp tickets, only one can be used.

We have APs and an 8 night trip that includes dates for both January & February 2021. I just finished making park reservations for the entire trip.

This morning, I could only do the first two nights and then nothing worked. I logged off and waited until a few minutes ago to try again. First I emptied my cache, though. Then the system let me finish the reservations for the rest of the trip. I didn't have to wait too long to get in and all four parks were available for every day of my trip. I used the chrome browser on my laptop to access MDE.

Try again - maybe you will have better luck. It will probably be easier to get in later this afternoon or evening. I highly doubt all the reservations will be gone by then. Good luck!

I was able to get a park reservation for March 2021.

I’ve been in the system numerous times (on a computer, a phone and an i-pad..six of us have annual passes and 3 have 8 day passes and 1 has an 8 day pass and two single day passes.

I have 32 resort stay days between October 3-January 3 (long story). Nowhere did it say we were limited to reserve 7 days. Rumor was 14 days, but I spoke to a supervisor on Saturday in length and she said as long as we had AP we could book entire 32 days. Note that our APs were good until January 2021 BEFORE any added dates, so that isn’t the issue.

I booked the Christmas week first. It only allowed my husband and I to book 3 days, it allowed the rest to book the entire 8 day stay. (I felt Christmas trip was the priority), and I booked December 25 first and foremost...MK...

On to October, it allowed me to book the 2 persons with APs (same ones going in December) one day, and then nothing. I couldn’t again book anything, and the system didn’t acknowledge the single day ticket of my other daughter.

I’ve tried over 100 times to get into the tech phone line, no luck. I’m sure there are a lot of people trying to get through.

For some, it works fine and they can get park reservations for every day of multiple resort reservations.
For some, it shuts you down at 7 days,.
For some, (me included) it shuts you down at 3 days.

In all cases, AP and resort reservations are linked to MDE.
Not definite, but it seems like people with inactivated AP's are having less trouble than people with activated AP's.

fwiw, I booked 2 park reservations for December, and 1 for January. AP originally expires Dec 31, but with extension is now April 17, 2021. So for me, no problem with 2021.
But I have the problem with getting shut out after 3 days.

I have an AP that is not "activated" and had the same issue making reservations for more than 7 days. I was able to chat with a CM and was able to add the park days I wanted. It took a while but they were able to accomplish and I see it online.

Our APs expire 12/09/20. We have resort stays 11/30 - 12/07 but I can only make three park reservations. I'll try again later...
