Reservations and ddp?

Our 180 day mark is coming up in 7 days. I have not added the ddp yet, (hoping for free dining) but we will def be going with the dining plan. Can I make my reservations under the ddp or should I add it before our 180 day mark?

DDP makes absolutely no difference in your restaurant reservations unless you are booking Cinderella's Royal Table or a dinner show. If you don't have a dining plan on your reservation when you book, those will require prepayment in full, but you can change when you do get a dining plan. You might be able to change by phone to WDW-DINE, or you can wait until you arrive and change your payment to dining credits.
