reservations 7 months out

I am looking to stay at a BCV at the end of september 2005 and if I cannot rent points from someone who owns at BCV, what are the chances that I will be able to get a 1 bedroom there 7 months out from someone who owns elsewhere. Does anyone out there have past experiences? Thanks!

I have never gone at that time of year but I don't think you will have a problem unless you go into October with your reservation and it conflicts with the "Food and Wine Festival". 1BR's are generally the easiest to get.

When is the wine festival in October? Is it the same time every year? Thanks

Food and Wine Festival starts Oct 1 and goes into Nov, sorry not sure of the ending date.

Sept. shouldn't be too terrible to get at the 7th month mark in a 1 bdrm at BCV's but if you're heart is set on an exact date in Sept. and particular size as you are mentioning, just make sure you try and rent and get booked as early as possible. I got a 1bdrm at BCV's for my upcoming stay in less than 2weeks - I booked at OKW at 11mos and then changed over at the 7mos. mark and was able to book surprisingly - but from what I remember, availibility was tight according to the CM. BCV's is quite small in comparison to the other DVC's - if you can have a back up choice it may be a good idea just in case, but for Sept. you'll have a pretty good shot at 7mos.

October 1 to November 14, 2004. This year it was extended into November because of its success. You never know if they will keep extending or expanding it.
