Hi, I justed wanted to warn fellow DVCers out there: I booked our vacation meals online at the 180 days out, using my reservation number. I called back one day later (today) to change the time of one of them. I was informed that there is a "glitch". :sad2: None of my dining reservations were linked to my room reservations. Therefore, when the glitch was fixed, there was a real possibility that they would be erased. Yikes! So I re-reserved all my meals. I got them all, within about 30 minutes, but Beware! Please call and check to make sure your dinining reservations are linked to your room reservations! Has anyone else had this happen?

There's a lot of weird things going on with the dining website right now (check the Dining forum for a long thread on the current status). But you don't need to connect your resort reservation to your ADRs ever unless:

1) you are using the +10 window (which right now is apparently working even without a reservation and it's working like it's 190, not 180+10 - as of yesterday anyway) or

2) you are using the DDP and don't want to have to prepay for something like CRT.

Were the dining reservation #'s still active? I used the online system for my trip last December and pulled them up by the dining reservation #, not the room reservation #.

Yes, they were at this point. Disney could see them in the system, but they were not attached to my room reservation, so because they were more than 180 days out, once the glitch was fixed they could be eraased, so sayeth Disney.

Do you really think that Disney will wipe out all of the ADRS for everyone made since the end of May (when the glitsch started)? I doubt it. NONE of the ADRs have been properly linked to reservation numbers even though you enter them into the system because that is part of the reservation system that is not working right now. It would be a huge mess in December if everyone who made ADRS and thought they had them showed up to eat with their ADR confirmed numbers only to find out Disney canceled them.

My feelings exactly - that is never going to happen.
