Looking for a studio for 4 nights with the following order of preference.

BCV (48 pts)
BLT - Standard View (48 pts)
BWV - Standard View (36 pts) but will take Preferred View (48 pts) if that is all that is available.
VWL - (48 pts)

2 adults and 1 child under 3...maybe more adults to be added to the reservation later if the in-laws get their act together :rolleyes1

Would like references and will only pay through PayPal. Thanks!

only thing available on those dates is a studio or 1 bedroom at SSR or a 1 bedroom at OKW OKW studios are larger than SSR and have 2 Queen beds in the room. Everything else is waitlist only. If your interested in the above, I'd be happy to help you. Email me at Mabelline7@hotmail.com:goodvibes

I just went on disney world. com to check availability for BLT and BCV studios for Oct 12-16 and it shows I could make a cash reservation for those right now if I wanted to. How come DVC members can't rent me points for the same room? Does Disney keep a set number of rooms in cash only status so DVC members can't use them? That may be the case, I don't know, but I'd be angry if I were a DVC member and could not stay where I own.

If these rooms for some reason just opened up, I would love if someone would be able to make a reservation for me. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Oh, and I want to clarify. Seems like Lake View is what is available at BLT for the above dates. We will take that even though it is 15 points per night (60 total) but would prefer BCV at 48 pts total if you can get it for us. Thanks!

That is exactly what happens. The resorts hold aside a certain percentage of rooms for cash reservations and if they don't get reserved then that is where people on a waitlist get lucky! Only problem is that most people don't want to wait until 30 days before going on vacation to know that they have a room.

So, those will not be made available to DVC members on the wait list until 30 days out? Does Disney tell you as a member how many people are ahead of you on the waitlist? It would be very frustrating as a DVC member to not be able to get a reservation at a DVC property when there are unbooked rooms available. I'm surprised Disney would make it so hard for people to visit who are gonna spend money once they get onto the property.

And.....bump.
