Reservation wanted: AKC 1/20/10-1/23/10

Apologies in advance--first time poster, so not sure I'm doing this right.

I'm interested in learning if I can get a reservation for either a concierge studio (preferred, or concierge 1br if not available) in AKC for three nights starting on Wed 1/20/10 and checking out Sat 1/23/10.

If I understand the process correctly, I arrange with a DVC owner a reservation, then have to obtain points?

Bump.

Can anyone of you generous, gregarious, WDW lovers help a brother out? I've rented plenty of timeshares from owners in the past (we're going to Atlantis/Harborside this summer and we typically stay at an off-property Marriott timeshare in Orlando), but I'm just unclear as to exactly how DVC works.

That being said, I'm ready to commit/buy the reservation as soon as we can find an acceptable room/date. Have to have an AKC concierge floor room for that week (not necessarily those dates) in Jan.
