We are contemplating a trip to Disney next year.
If we book a package now at current 2006 prices, and a discount code or special plan (like the free dining) becomes availabe for our dates, can we switch to the code rate or special plan? Do they just apply it to the already held reservation or does the current reservation have to be cancelled and then the package rebooked (with the possibility that the dates or hotel desired will not be available)?
What percentage off does AAA discount provide? Are the number of rooms available limited with AAA? Can the AAA discount be applied to concierge level rooms? In order to get the AAA discount for a package we have to book through AAA right? Does this affect our ability to make ADRs or room requests or resort changes? What of those things must be done through a travel agent?
We will reserve and be prepared to pay rack rates in order to stay at the hotel we want, during the week we want. But of course we would like to save money if possible
