How long in advance can you make reservations? I would have the longest countdown chain ever as our next trip will be around 2008.

I'm trying to plan the best trip ever. We went last year and my daughter was only 3 so she probably won't remember much when she gets older. I want the next trip to be the BEST EVER.

Do you normally book 2 years in advance? We will be staying for a total of 15 nights and decided on the Pop Century. Also, how can I get the best deal for that length of stay? Do I book awhile and wait for codes or should I go through AAA since we will be flying?

Also, I heard that the 60's building and 50's building were great and close to everything. Can I request one of those while? Can you request the 4th floor (to see fireworks) as well (or is 1st better) and does anyone know which has a great view?

Sorry, these may sound like stupid questions but I'm doing some heavy planning. I know it will be magical no matter what. Our first trip was with family so there was about 12 of us.

This trip will be with my husband, myself and daughter, which will be more special.

Thanks to anyone who can help...

Planning for 2008? You should be able to plan the perfect trip :)

There is no need to book two years in advance unless there is some unusual special event at that time. I usually book six months to a year in advance.

If you are staying for 15 nights, your best bet would be to invest in annual passes. It would be cheaper than getting an Ultimate Park Hopper pass for that amount of time. The annual passes usually allow you to book rooms at discounted rates (usually at least 30% off rack rate).

I would look for the airfare as soon as it comes out (depending on the airlines, that could be anywhere from a few months to 330 days in advance).

Hope that helps :)

If I make reservations early, can I call back and tell them I decided to get an annual pass thus will they give me the discount?

Our trip will be in March and I don't want to wait till January to make reservations.

Where is can you purchase annual passes? I guess I'd have to wait till January to purchase this as well right?

Thanks for your help.

Yes, you can make reservations early, and then apply an annual pass rate when and if they are available.

You can buy a voucher for an annual pass at the Disney Store. There is no expiration date on the voucher, and it would start the date that you activate the pass (make sure that you check the date when you activate it).
