Reservation Questions (AKV and SSR)

We are going to book AKV Kidani (2bdm) (hopefully!) for September 20-26th of next year. Do you think by calling 11m out we'll get it

And, this December (first or second week) or January, my mom and I are planning a M-F SSR trip with leftover developer points (my sister and soon to be DH are using 124), how hard will Dec(first two weeks) or Jan (middle) be to get?? Thanks

AKV shouldn't be a problem. Last I heard the SSR December dates were sold out. January might have a chance. You won't know until you call.

If you're talking Dec, 2008 you will likely have a problem getting anything as most resorts and dates were sold out close to the 1 month window. There was some success at or just after the 7 month window due to cancellations. Still, availability changes so all you can do it call and see.

AKV is going to be a huge resort when completed. You should have no problem booking your 2BR for next September at the 11-month window.

As for this year, you are probably out of luck for any time in December. The first two weeks of December are the busiest at DVC resorts because the point-cost is so low. You would have much better luck with a January stay, although I'd get on the phone ASAP to book something.
