Reservation Question

For a family that travels to WDW usually in the first week of January, mid-March during Spring Break, or last days of May into first days of June, is it realistic to be able to get a reservation at another DVC resort. We do not go more than once yearly, but it is dependent on the school calendar. Or are these times busy enough that I would need to book early at my home resort.

BTW- Thanks for your patience and help as I prepare to buy my own "piece of the magic."

After Jan 2nd isn't too bad, Spring break would be more crucial to have 11 month window, end of May you run into Memorial day, not as busy as Christmas/New Years and Easter but it is a holiday . Buy where you plan to stay is the adage you'll hear alot, unless you don't care which property you stay at.

January should be easy but I would think the other 2 times will require the 11 month home priority window to be successful consistently. I'd agree, buy where you want to stay. And for darn sure, don't buy at VB or HH with the idea of staying mostly at WDW. A December use year would be the best one for this type of plan but I'm sure several other choices would work well. Good luck.

Thank you kem330 and Dean. Now I suppose my biggest problem is deciding WHICH resort. They all seem like great choices for differing reasons: OKW for lower maintenance fees and ease of use with car, BW lower resale cost than BC and VWL and location, VWL for sheer beauty and anenities, and BC for pool and location, but higher purchase cost.

Oh well, I wish all my problems were like this!
