reservation question

I have just recently closed on a SSR resale and have one question about making reservations.I understand the 11 month window (and 7 for non home resorts) but lets say I was looking for a reservation on Nov1-8th 2013 at a non home resort.I can make this on April 1st or do I need to wait to the 8th?

I am sure I will read this when I get all my paperwork but just curios right now.Thanks.

for non-home reservations: on april 1, you can book nov 1 for 7 nights.
