When you book your reservation and they give you the "per night rate," does that rate include the 12 1/2% hotel tax or is it added after?

When I look up my room only ressie on Disney's site, it shows the rates like this:

(EXAMPLES - not true dates or rates)

4/1 to 4/6/12 = $219.00
4/7 and 4/8 = $249.00
4/9 to 4/12 = $219.00

There is no "total" amount owed listed as I booked through a travel agent.
My agent's quote is about $500 more than the amount shown on Disney's website. The agent said it's because the hotel tax isn't included in the per night rate.

Which rate is correct?

Wouldn't Disney's site reflect the full amount including tax?

Thank you for your help....

The figures given per night do NOT include tax. If you price it out on the website, it will give you what each individual night costs, just as you have in your example. Then up at the top, it gives a total for all nights that does include tax. The per night rate would include any extra fees such as an additional adult, but tax is only included in the total overall cost and not for each individual night.

Thanks!!! I appreciate the quick reply!
