I was wondering if you can make reservations for more people in your party than are actually staying in your room. We are going with friends and I will most likely make their reservations when I make my own and I just need to know if I should get their reservation number in advance if you can only make reservations for the number of people listed on the room. THanks.

You sure can. I always make all the ADRs for both my DDs room/family and ours.:thumbsup2

Disney dining won't know how many people are in your room. The only reason you need your resort reservation number is for the +10 day part of the 90 + 10 thing.

Many people will meet other people for dinner so their reservation will be for more than their room occupancy. Heck, one time it was just my husband and me as a Disney resort guest and we had our entire family meet us for dinner for our anniversary. I made a reservation for 12 with no problems.
