reservation question

Hi everyone. I have a really dumb question. Being new to DVC, I really don't know how this whole reservation system works. I am looking to make a reservation for christmas 2009. The 26th to the 31st to be exact. When does the 11 month window open up? Is it the beginning of the 11th month or 11 months from the exact day that you want to check-in. I'm thinking that I can make my reservation on January 26th.

On day your 11 month window becomes available call first thing when MS opens in morning since its a very popular time with New Year's Eve, holiday decorations etc.
