If you have a confirmed reservation on DVC points, and you arrive a day late (due to a cancelled flight, for example), what happens?

Is your whole reservation cancelled, or are you just out the points for the first night?

Thanks!

As long as you call and inform them that you will not arrive on time, your reservation for the rest should be held.

Even better, you should have a room ready as soon as you arrive, no matter how early! -- Suzanne

You should be fine, but definitely make sure you call to let them know that you will be there. We got delayed a day driving to Florida because of a severe storm and I called BWV to let them know we wouldn't be there that night, but would be the next day. They thanked me for letting them know and said members should always let them know of delays :)

Good luck and I hope you enjoy your vacation and have a safe trip!

Yes, you are fine as long as you let them know. The rules state that if you don't show up you lose the whole reservation, so you have to let them know. I am not sure how picky they are for the no shows....

I believe you are still loose the points for the first night as first night is still part of your reservation.
