Reservation pricing question

I know this is probably a really dumb question, but I am hoping that you will humor me!

Where do I go to make reservations? I am wanting to compare prices and look for 'deals', but am not sure where to look. Can anyone give me a hand?

In my opinion, I don't think it matters where you go for reservation pricing. I think Disney controls the prices. I priced through several travel agencies and Disney directly and they were all basically the same. If you are planning on staying off-site I think you may want to check several places, but for on-site I think you're gonna get pretty much the same prices from everyone. Do a little research and get quotes from a couple of places. I did this first, then went to Liberty travel. My agent, was great about trying to find what made one place cheaper than they offered. When we did this, we realized it was a mistake in the # of rooms requested. I know, that she actually called disney directly to get our rates. Good luck planning and the dis boards are a great place to get the info to do that !!!!

I think Dansyr is correct about the pricing of on-site resorts and getting the same price from whom ever you book through. I booked with Dreams Unlimited and was told that they will watch the prices for us and get the lowest price. We have a while to wait, but we're hoping that the prices will come down.
