Alright, somebody please help me out.

What are these, and how do they work at non-DVC Disney resorts? Is there anywhere I can go to determine point values for rooms at other WDW resorts?

Reservation points are available when a member has used points for a non-DVC option- like the Disney Cruise, stays at non-DVC Disney resorts and Concierge Collection resorts- and later cancels that reservation. These points may only be re-used for similar, non-DVC, reservations and cannot be banked. They cannot be used for a stay at BCV, BWV, VWL, OKW, VB or HH.

There is a complete list of the non-DVC options in the member guidebook and on the Member's website, but none that I know of on other sites.

In general, the non-DVC options will require more points for lesser accommodations (a standard room at the Poly may cost as many ponts as a 1BR villa at a DVC resort).

If you have a question about points needed at a specific resort, I'm sure someone will be glad to look up the points for you. If you considering renting resevation points for a WDW stay, be sure to compare what the same room would cost directly thru Disney (many will have discounts available).
