Reservation Points Availability

I have Reservation Points that have to be used. What are the odds of getting POR during the first 2 weeks of December. It would probably be a last minute booking. Are those rooms usually available or do they book up far in advance also?

The last time I tried to book the first week of December was 2006. I booked in August and the only resort left was a room in AKL (before it was DVC). We grabbed it. Everything else was gone - moderates and deluxe alike, not to mention DVC resorts which of course were long ago sold out.

Pop Warner is taking alot of the value and moderate rooms for the week of 12/7.

What about the end of December? I know the points are higher, so is there greater availability still?
