Reservation number when renting DVC poimts

If I were to rent DVC points from a reputable site, what kind of timeframe is normal for getting a reservation number from the owner that makes the actual reservation? Thanks!

from a broker maybe 14 days?

We are renting points from an individual and he forwarded the Disney confirmation to me as soon as he made the reservation, because he did not want me to send him a check until we had the confirmation in hand. I used the confirmation number on the Disney website and was able to see the reservation.

I rented points from another DIS-er and she forwarded the email confirmation from Disney within 24 hours of me giving her all the information she needed to book. I can use the link in the email to see the confirmation on Disney's system.

I rented points/reservation from a friend yesterday, and he immediatly sent me the confirmation number. I was able to use the DVC retreive reservation system to look at my reservation the same day it was made.

I am right on the verge of possibly renting, but they were going to check this morning for our last night stay, but that pesky maintenance is dragging on and on leaving me to wonder....lol
