First they made a mistake on my flight info.
I booked a room at Music then the confirmation letter said Movie.
The Disney website said I owe 1,400.00 for a 5 night room only ressie? (know thats not right)
When I called they insisted it didnt say 1,400.00 but we were looking right at on the pc! As long as they have it right!

A week later it still says we owe 1,400.00!

Anyone else having these kind of problems?

Check your ressies with them, thank God we did!

Don't go by the website. It's beta anyway. If they say on the phone what $ it is, that's what it is (as well as your paper confirmation).

We are having the same problem. Online it says we owe $531 for a 3 night discounted stay at Music. But when I called, they said that they showed our balance for $200, which is what it should be. Also, when I originally booked our magical express shuttle service, they had us arriving and departing on the same day. Man, am I glad that I called back!

They misquoted me by $40 a night then added an extra night! When talking to "guest relations" I was told there was nothing they could do about the misquote, I had cancelled it because I was so annoyed! We are now staying at SoG!

Best mess up Disney made in my opinion!

The online system is whacked. You should trust your confirmation and what the CM reads from their system.

I have learned never to rely on the website. It is rarely ever right. Just ease your mind and call directly.

This is why I use Small World Travel. That way if there is a problem, they can handle it with Disney so I don't have to. Found out about them on Mousesavers and have used them several times with nothing but good results.

I ran into this, when I found out that they had refunded my deposit instead of putting it against my new reservation like they should have.

I keep getting confirmation letters in the mail that are wrong !! :earseek: The dates are a bit messed up. One spot it says we are staying 5 nights but then lists the dates of those 5 nights as being 11 nights. The Magical Express info. was wrong. Every time I call to correct one thing, something else ends up wrong. :scratchin We are planning a Grand Gathering with lots of people staying in different places, coming and going on different dates, and getting different packages. :scared: I can only hope that it gets all straightened out within the next 97 days (not that we are counting the days :jumping1: !!)

how long does it take to get the written confirmation? I'm asking cuz
I changed our ressies from BC to YC 3/10. prior to that, I made various phone changes, ie UPH to MYW w/ dining, then removed the dining. seems like everytime you have a conversation with them you EVENTUALLY get a letter,
but it just seems to take a very long time. yesterday (3/19) I got a letter
confirming the BC with the removal of the dining, dated 3/10, a change I made early this month, maybe late feb. Now, that my ressies have changed,
and I have cancelled the BC, how long do you think til I get my REAL
confirmation letter for the YC????? fyi, the ressie shows correct on the
website, and the CM's records are as well when I called. just like to have
that little piece of paper......thanks

*sigh*

Me too. It shows DH and I owe $1600!!! How funny for our 6 night ressie at POFQ with AP rates! ;) The last person I spoke with at CRO basically said to not trust that site at all. Some of it deals with cookies, but it just doesn't update it and include discounts like it should. I still haven't received confirmation letters for ANY ressies I have made..and they have changed 3-4 times... :confused3

As I was reading the thread that was my thought, use a TA. We also went through Small World, and our TA, Laura, is wonderful. She booked the AP rate for us, before I even knew about it. I read people were on hold for hours and did not even get the resort they really wanted. All confirmation documents go through the TA and she handles any problem that pops up.

Oh my goodness YES. This is the first time we've ever tried to stay onsite and I called and reserved POR Alligator Bayou for May 13-21 and I made my deposit with a credit card. Ok when I got my ressie in the mail it had POFQ and said I owed the deposit. I thought geez whiz how could they mess up THAT bad. So I call back and do it again. Well next thing ya know they got the ressie correct but duplicated it and charged my CC twice. Ok so I call back again and hopefully they get it right this time. If not I give up and heading back offsite.

Oh YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Last year was the first time we went and I didn't know where else to book, so I called WDW. BIGGGGGGGGGG mistake. I got a women who obviously has never booked a resort or anything in her life. She took my reservation and had to ask me oh about 4 times what resort, the dates, what my citizen (because I was booking with a special for Canadians only using our VISA). After everytime she asked she put me on hold. Then when it was time to put it on my visa, she said it said it was full. I said it can't be and she went to get help and the manager said it was. So they put my reservation on hold so I could phone my bank right away. To make a long story short, she had added my reservation 4x to my visa. She maxed my visa totally and it was 3 weeks before x-mas. It took me to calling about 8 times till I got this lovely manager on the phone from reservation and she was on the phone with my bank saying they wouldn't except any reservations at all. I had no visa for x-mas, 3 weeks before we were going we still had no reservations and my kids and I were crying :scared1: :( :worried:
Finally 2 weeks before we left everything was rebooked and we were on our way. This time I booked through my CAA (AAA) travel agent and everything went smoothly, no clitches. I don't know if I'll ever book through WDW again. Remember I had never been to WDW before and neither had my kids

Bring your phone bill. When you get there, finish the check in normally, then go across to Guest Ser ices, explain all the reservation hassles, and ask for perks. Perhaps some or several extra fast passes for each family member. Perhaps some vouchers for ice cream or popcorn. Perhaps vouchers for meal entrees. If you are daring, perhaps Disney Dollars or an extra room discount.

There is no excuse for the problems described above.

Maybe there is such a thing as (hand crafted) Front Of The Line for Disne resort guests.

I'll second the vote for Small World Vacations. Their agent Stephanie arranged our trip last year and I'd recommend her to anyone without thinking twice. There was not one thing she arranged that I found a better price on later.

Some of my resies are messed up too. Online says I owe 700+ and when I called to ask about this, they said they show I only owe $60 some.

We didn't have problems with $$$ but with the ressies themselves. We just returned from POR where, apparently, the 4 times I had called with confirmation and requests, no one heard me. I realize nothing is a true guarantee however on several of these I was told by the CM that they were guaranteed. For example: We requested and paid for connecting rooms (1 standard,1 king) in a mansion. My son in-law is facing back surgery and with 2 kids, the upstairs/downstairs would have been too much. We needed elevators. When the rooms were assigned, we were assigned separate rooms, both standard in Alligator Bayou, second floor. We explainded the situation and were given 2 water view rooms (standard, no king) in a mansion. They did not charge my daughter extra for the view. Our rooms were not connected but next to each other, which was fine. :confused3

I cancelled one reservation and rebooked another the day Fl resident rates were released. I was given a confirmation # on the new booking,my previous deposit was applied and I put the remaining balance on my Disney Visa. When I got my confirmation letter a few days later it showed that I had paid the correct amount of $,that I needed prrof of residency at check-in,but that the room was at the full rack rate(meaning I would still have a balance even though I had paid in full). I called and the CM insisted I must have misunderstood when I made my reservation and that my resort choice was not available and they had told me to call back and keep checking. Needless to say I refused to accept this answer,I am a very careful person and not insane,I know what I booked,so she finally connected me to guest services who corrected the problem and told me there were many computer errors the first 2 days the AP and Fl resident codes were released. I had called the day the Fl codes came out,7 AM on the dot. Anyway the reservation was corrected on a Monday afternoon and I received a correct confirmation lettter the following Thursday. A big relief!

I did have a problem last fall with Disney reservations. CM booked me under a Florida Resident's Rate without me knowing until my confirmation arrived. Since this was a last minute trip AND we were going over Halloween weekend, I seriously freak-out when I discovered that there were no rooms available for the length of our stay. Fortunately, Disney made good on the prior arrangement; and we only paid the discounted rate.
