Reservation help

I'm supposed to check in to Yacht Club on Sunday the 7th-12th of Jan.. But I've ran into a problem with my business that would make it much better to check in on Tue. the 9th . I don't mind losing 2 days of my trip but I'm worried what happens to the rest of Fp and ADRs for the rest of the week if I don't show up until Tue. . What's the easiest way to adjust my reservation and keep all my plans for Tue-Fri. . And if I check in Tue. do you think I would have to wait for 3 pm check in even if I've paid for 2 days I'm not there .

I am going by things that I have read here, not personal experience. I think that if you don't show up for two days, your reservation may be canceled. I really think that you need to call and speak to the reservations people. Maybe other posters will have personal experience and advice for you.

You will not lose your ADRs and fast passes. The fps are tied to tickets and the ADRs are independent of your resort reservation. The biggest issue is canceling the first two days of the resort reservation. You need to call and confirm that you are able to keep the days that you want. Disney will cancel the reservation if you don’t show up otherwise.

I agree with the pp's that you need to call. If the shorter stay is available, your reservation can easily be modified. If it's not available, CRO won't be able to take the 2 nights off, but you can ask to speak to someone in guest services as they might be able to help.

Agree with Wood Nymph. You need to call CRO & ask to drop the first 2 nights. No way would I risk just not showing up til 2 days later. And if you cancel the first 2 days, your check in day will now be the 9th, so you might have to wait for a room. You can let them know your arrival time & they will attempt to get you into a room early, but you might have to wait til official check in time.

Edit: you will be risking your deposit if you just don't show up & they cancel your reservation.
