Hello My name is Ryan and I'm 15 years old.
I'm new to the whole trip report thing and I've really wanted to give it a try so this is my pre trip report.
First off I'll say a little about myself and my family.
My Mom Lynn is a stay at home mom and is a really great one at that it's really nice having her home all the time. She is the one who started the whole disney thing in our family.
My Dad Henry is a DPW worker for our city and coaches high school sports. My dad just goes with the flow and comes along for the ride.
Then there's me the disney fanatic of the family. I have been five times six after this upcoming trip. My first trip was when I was 8 months old!
My sisters Jordan 12 and Sydnee 8. Jordan has been 3 times and Sydnee only once.
We are huge disney fans especially my mom and I. My mom has been going since she was four and has been over 30 times. I am the avid boards goer letting my mom know all the recent news. I learned about the boards and the DIS just after out last vacation in 2012 I have been hooked since and check them everyday multiple time a day, as well as watch the Disunplugged podcasts. This past year I painted our kitchen disney, it was already disney but I redid it with even more disney, Minnie and Mickey everywhere. Also I made my dad redo our garden in the front yard and now it about a 12 foot Mickey garden bed.
2013 we could have went but not on a full 7 or more day vacation like normally because money was a bit tighter but we decided to wait and save the money for 2014.
We are planning to in July some time between July 14th- July 31 we haven't booked yet because we are waiting for my sisters basketball schedule to come out which will be soon. We also want to see what deals come out.
Last time we went in 2012 my mom surprised us but this time we already know we are going.
I'm the main planner everything gets okayed by my mom tho. Especially now with mymagic+ and FP+. I'm excited to plan out our days and our ADRs. One place we haven't eaten at before is Ohana and since joining the boards I've heard so many good things on it that were going to try it out.
We stayed at the Dolphin in 2012 but probably won't stay there again just wasn't for us. This time we are looking at Port Orleans riverside most likely but depending on discounts we could be looking at staying in our first deluxe ever!
