Reservation confirmation question...

I made reservations via internet about 2 - 2 1/2 weeks ago and I haven't received any kind of confirmation in the mail. I'm fairly certain I printed some kind of confirmation off when I made the reservation, but I'd feel better if I received something from FW. What's the standard procedure?

Also, can I just call and ask them if they have me in the system?

You can call and ask them to send you a written confirmation.

I don't know how this works. When I first booked our FW reservation for 2006 I didn't get anything at all. When I changed it to the AAA rate I was sent a confirmation. I havn't been able to figure it out!

You probably got an inexperienced reservations clerk. That has happened to me a few times over the years. When you call back and explain that you have not received a confirmation, they will send you one. If you don't have a reservation number, they can look you up in their system by name and address.

I booked for Dec way back in May and havent gotten anything from them either. And I always have in the past. But since you booked online you can check to make sure they have it by checking online at their site. Mine was there safe and sound.

We made our reservation in January for our trip this past June by phone. We never got an official confirmation in the mail as we have in the past, but all went well. We just took the confirmation number that they gave us over the phone just in case. When we checked in all we needed was our name, but we had the number just in case.

I have always gotten written confirmation in the mail within 2 weeks, at least.

We made our ressies back in June. Still no confirmation letter, and we have called back to ask for one. Again we were told they would mail it again. Still, no letter.

Sometimes I get the confirmation letter, sometimes I don't. I found out this last time that I made reservations that they were mailing mine to someone with the same name in Kansas, I think. I got my address fixed up and I've been getting the confirmations pretty well, now.
