My sister has finally gotten approval from her job to take vacation so she is wanting to go to disney with us. OUr trip is already paid for. We are staying at GF so could obviously have another person in our room.

My question is...does anyone know how it works if I'd like to add her to my reservation with the tickets and dining? I know there is an extra room charge for the additional adult as well. But are we able to do this now with less than 45 days? Will we lose our discount (4/3 deal) or have to rebook with an extra person?

I won't go through all of this she'll either stay home, get her own room, or figure out her situation herself. Our trip is paid for so I don't want to lose anything where that is concerned. It just would be easier if she could be added to our ressie so she can get a kttw, dining plan/tickets, and take advantage of the EMH with us.

Well since you are w/in 45 days Disney *could* charge you a change fee. But, typically if you are changing your reservation to spend more money, they will waive the change fee. As long adding her to the ressie doesn't bump your group over the max occupancy of your room, it shouldn't be a problem to add her.

Sounds like you already know about the extra adult fee, I think it's $25/night at deluxe. If you have a package she will need the have the same package as the rest of the party in the room. Since you are w/in 45 days you'll need to pay in full when you call to add her.

As long as you make the change no less than 5 days out she can be added to have the dining anything under that she can only get the tickets and room. Yes the can work the system but that can be risky I know b/c this happened to me in feb when my dd and I were going my mom decided to join us at the last minute I was at the 5 day mark and they were having trouble doing it but after about 30mins they were able to add her. Have a great trip.
