reservation change

Guess what? My inlaws from arizona have arrived at an aunt's house in Florida. They have offered to watch the kids for us to go out one night. Will it be a problem to switch a reservation from 4 to 2? I hope not! Very rare for us to go out with out the kiddies!!

Just call and adjust your reservation. that way the restaurant can accomodate 2 others who are dying to get in

I would call - but before canceling the existing ADR I would ask if they have availability for an ADR for 2. If they do not, just keep the one you've got and show up with 2 instead of 4. From what I hear, they don't just adjust the number of people in your party, they cancel the entire ADR and book a new one, but if there isn't a new one available you may be out of luck.
