Reservation Change due to Hurricane

We are scheduled to fly in Sat, Oct 12 and our flight MAY be delayed severely or canceled. We also have a backup flight coming in on Sunday, Oct 13. If the flight is canceled, can I make a change to my existing reservation, arriving a day later and not lose the points for the first night.

MS has been working with people regarding this so as it gets closer, just give them a call when you know and they should return the points without issue.

Here goes, If we are at the airport and they cancel our flight last minute to Orlando. What number should I call ? I am a DVC member but should I call the DVC number or call the DVC resort number we are staying at? Just to make sure we have a room when we get there late.

Call MS if they are open. The published number for the resort actually goes to an off-site call center.
