Ok here is my question #1: I have reservation with WDWT for ASMO for 6 nights (11/29-12/4) and PO-R for 2 nights(12/05-12/06)- I have rented points from a very nice member for OKW (Thanks Bill ) for 4 nights (12/1-12/4) so i have paid for my rental points with the DVC member and have paid the WDWT their $100.00 deposit.. but when i call to say i only need the ASMo for 11/29 & 11/30 and PO-R for 12/5 & 12/06 i know they will make me have 2 ressie right ? therefore i will need to pay 2 deposits ??

Question #2 : might be an easier one.. If AP rates do come out for winter ( travel is 11/29 to 12/7 ) and my AP runs out on 12/3
and i have 2 seperate ressies can i get the AP rate on my PO-R (12/5 &12/06 ) ressie ??? ( i now have the DC discount but am hoping for better rates.. )

Thanks .. Michelle

1) It doesn't matter who you book with the policy on this is the same. You can only have one Disney resort on a reservation. Multiple resorts in the same stay equal multiple reservations and you will be required to pay the appropriate deposit on each reservation. There is no way around that.

2) The expiration date of your AP is not a factor when making AP rate room reservations. It would only be a factor at check in if you are asked to show your AP. So the answer to your question is yes you can.

under one reservation number.. only one confirmation slip w/ both hotels listed..?
Sorry don't think #2 got worded right my AP expires on 12/03/02 and the nights in question are 12/05/02 and 12/06/02 ? i can always book it and hope they don't ask to see our AP ( like at the CBR last Dec..)
thanks Michelle

Each reservation you make gets its own confirmation number. One resort per reservation, one reservation per confirmation. If you make reservations at two resorts, you will get two separate confirmations with one resort on each. Each confirmation slip will have its own confirmation number and be totally independent of the other one.

I worded #2 correctly. People don't even have to have an AP when making the reservation so it doesn't matter whether you have an active one or not when you book an AP rate. Your 12/5-6 reservation can be made at an available AP rate with no problem hence my answer of "yes you can".

What will matter is if you are asked to show your AP when you check in at the resort on 12/5. If you have an expired AP they can revoke the AP rate you have and charge you rack rate unless you renew your AP and show it to them before checking out.

sorry GoldenOldie, the first part of my second post is missing
it should have read I have in my hand only one reservation confirmation with 2 resorts on it . It states right on the confirmation that i will be switching resorts during my stay and the 2 are listed on the bottom w/ the correct rates and dates.

and for question 2 i will keep my fingers crossed

I don't think it matters whether your AP is active or not for your 12/5 stay. The AP's don't have dates listed on them, so how would the CM know that it expired two days earlier? I don't figure how they could possibly know?

bigsis1970:

Then you have a WDTC confirmation in your hand (small white with an 8 digit confirmation number). If you had an AP reservation you would have a CRO confirmation (large yellow with a 12 digit confirmation number) and you would indeed have two of them.

Sorry for the confusion.

chris1gill:

An active AP/PAP absolutely has an expiration date on the back. That's how bigsis1970 knew when hers expired. You are thinking of an AP voucher which contains no expiration date.
