Reservation 5 minutes before park closes OK?

Is it ok to have a dinner reservation 5 minutes before the park is supposed to close for the night?

How does that work as far as them staying open, kicking us out, and leaving the park?

It's on an evening when the magic kingdom park is staying open for MVMCP and they put our reservation at 6:55PM. At first I figured it wouldn't be a big deal but now I'm wondering...

Will they rush us out of the restaurant or escort us to the exit of the park after we're done?

They are very good about letting you finish your meal. You won't feel rushed at all.

We ate at LTT before MVMCP one night and the people next to us did not have tickets for the party. They let them eat but they were walked to the front gates by Disney employees after they were dont. This was last year.

You will have to leave the park directly after the meal, because the park is closed off for those who don't have the "hard" tickets for the party.

You can't shop, either, because they sell party-specific merchandise not sold to the general public. But I think you'll be fine otherwise just eating then leaving.
