There's a 50 pointer VWL for sale now at one of the big three. March UY though. They had a 75 but it's sale pending.

I've been checking all the sites daily. I found a 100 point contract (Dec UY) at VWL a few weeks ago at the Timeshare Store.

I immediately made an offer and it was accepted. It was sent to Disney for ROFR on June 8. Now I sit and wait.

Allie - Thanks for looking out. I actually put in a bid on a contract last month, and am awaiting ROFR right now. There is a slim chance I may hear back today, but more likely next Tuesday.

Sharon - Congrats on getting through on your contract and yeah for your daughter, how exciting!

Not sure if this is the right place, but when buying direct, do you have any ability to negotiate your UY? The one offered to us on the DCL last week was specifically for AKV with a Feb UY. We like to travel around Thanksgiving, so if I understand some of the things I have read, a Feb UY may not be a good thing for us.

Yes you can tell them what UY you want. They may be pushing a certain resort or UY, but you don't have to buy what they are pushing.

You can buy any of the sold-out resorts and any UY you want. They may have to put you on a wait list to get what you want, but it shouldn't take much time for them to fulfill it (depending on the resort/UY).
