Agree. Sellers aren't motivated. You'll likey wait a lot more before it's done. Next purchase I am definitely putting an expiration time on my offer. We were lucky last time and the sellers were motivated but I'd be madder than a hornet after 6 days.

Well... It's been 9 days. I contacted them on Tuesday for a status update and never even got a reply. I hadn't updated because I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. The broker is dvc Magic resales.

I've used them. Would do so again. They specialize in DVC.

I bought from the Timeshare store and everything went super smooth I would really look into them. As someone said earlier just be careful not to go too low where it wont pass the ROFR.

A listing came up for $63 point 150 points at OKW, as soon as it came up I took it I didnt even bother sending in an offer because I figured it wouldnt pass rofr, Ive sometimes wondered what I actually could have gotten away with, but I feel like I got a good deal and the deal went smooth so I can't complain =]

I've dealt with foreign sellers before and the broker had trouble communicating with them so there was a delayed response on everything.

Yeah, I don't get it. She has good reviews. If it is a foreign seller or on vacation or they thought the offer was too low, I just wish I would be told that. I am a super patient and forgiving person (almost too much so) so I totally would wait. I don't think expecting some sort of response in 10 days now is unreasonable. It's been 4 days since I last checked in and I got no response. We were willing to come up some and figured we would. It is still listed as for sale on the site. Oh well. I think I just need to be like Elsa and Let It Go!

I contacted DVC Magic Resales, along with numerous other ones, last week with what kind of contract I'm looking for. I've received information and a response from all but Magic Resales, so took the site out of my bookmarks and are watching the others instead.

I made an offer that was eventually accepted but it took about a week to hear back. They just were't getting back to the broker for no particular reason. The broker contacted them a few times before getting an answer ("yes, yes, we're happy with that offer"). The initial contract paperwork took another 5 days (broker was slow). They signed their end right away, but I was out of the country by the time the broker finally put it together and sent it to me and I didn't have access to a printer, so it was another 5 days before I got my end back. Now it's with Disney (I assume). Sometimes life just gets in the way and time flies by for some people.

p.s. I'm using the same broker. I've noticed this is much slower and less efficient than the last broker I used. A lot of my emails were answered slow, late, or not at all. Calling her has been most effective so far. I think it's one person working all this, not an office of brokers.
