Need a little help wrapping my head around this.
If we buy resale at OKW with a UY of September. Then later on we decide to add 50 points at OKW can we request the same UY of September?
If we get a resale and direct contract at the same resort with the same UY can we make reservations at 11 months out? I know with a resale we an only do 7 months out right?

Resale can book 11 months out. Disney will be able to match your UY and if you do that then the points can be used together seamlessly when making reservations.

Every owner can book their home resort at 11 months and other resorts at 7 months.

ALL DVC Members (re-sale or Disney direct) can make a reservation up to 11 months prior to their travel dates at their home resort and 7 months or less before their travel dates at the non home resort.

Say we 100 points at OKW. Then add 50 at AKL, then 5 or 6 years down the road we add another 100 to AKL. would that make AKL our hone resort? or does it go by the first one you bought? I know OKW expires in 2042.

Home resort is tied to the points, not the membership. Your OKW points only have home resort privileges at OKW and your AKV points will always be AKV points.

Your OKW direct will automatically have a 2057 end date.....your resale is probably 2042. (just fyi)

OKW is the only resort that DVC offered an extension to owners. You will find mostly 2042 end dates on resale but there are some 2057 too - the listings will state if it is a 2057 end. Because of the extension if you did buy direct from DVC it would be a 2057 end date. Something to keep in mind with OKW is that because the resort has many contracts that will be ending in 2042 there is some questions of what DVC will do at that time with maybe 1/2 of the resort coming back to them. Maybe even more than 1/2.
