Hey y'all-

We were notified two weeks ago by Jaki and **** that Disney had waived heir ROFR. About three days later we received the closing documents and total due for a BCV resale. Per USPS our documents and check were delivered to Timeshare Title and more one week ago. We haven't heard from the title company acknowledging receipt nor have we heard anything about the sellers signing.

We've emailed Jaki and **** as well as the title company. No one has emailed us back. I know I could call but I don't want to be a pest. Should we have heard from them regarding receipt? I'm trying to not worry but we of course sent a sizable check for the purchase.

How long does it take to hear back from them? Should I be worried?

Thanks in advance (and sorry for typos- I'm at the gym on an elliptical!)

I have used Jaki and **** three times in the last couple of months. They do not let you know when the closing company receives your documents. I called Timeshares and More every time just to make sure they received it. One closing was very fast, two moved pretty slow. It just depends on where you get on the closing list, how fast your sellers get everything back in, and if the sellers owe anything to Disney. One closing was taking forever, and I finally called to see what was up. Come to find out, the seller was behind on payments to Disney, and one certain woman at Disney had to do something with the contract, and she was off for 2 weeks!! Would have been nice to know that! If I were you, I would call Jaki or **** and see where you are on the closing list, and find out if something unusual is going on. They never seemed to mind me calling to see what was going on.

I would recommend calling Timeshare Title and More and find out if they received your documents and the documents from the seller. If they have then the file should be closing soon. If they have your documents but not the sellers then I would call Jaki and **** and ask them to put a call into the seller to find out when they might be returning. When dealing with clients at The Timeshare Store, Inc.® buyers and/or sellers are typically good about giving us a timeline of when they might be returning. I wouldn't be worried.

Congrats on the points.

Thanks for the quick responses! Jaki emailed back, saying she would check but then we also received an email back from Timeshares saying they had everything. Which means we should be closing in a few days. I just want this done!!!

If this is driving you nuts, just wait until you try to book a room and wait in que for 20 minutes to be told that only 3 of your 5 days are available. :goodvibes
