Resale @ BWV and advice...

We made an offer to purchase an additional 200+ pts at BWV today and our offer was accepted for $62/pt. I think I got a fair deal and am saving around $1600 vs. purchasing from DVC and that includes closing costs. My advice to those who are thinking of buying in... buy as much as you can afford but not so much you can't use. Anyone have any feedback/advice regarding a resale experience? I purchased a resale in September, 2000 through the timeshare store. The service was excellent and I had no problem. I didn't pay the extra to faciliate the closing and as I recall it took about 4 weeks even though the seller was from foreign country. It is my understanding reading the boards that the timeshare broker also are very good. I don't think you will have a problem. Also, since the BWV & OKW are sold out the only way to purchase is through a resale. Enjoy and good luck!

We closed with Jaki today. She is excellent. She knew we wanted to close in a hurry and we did it in two weeks! She is very professional, keeps you informed. You can't go wrong.

We also bought our resale through Jaki at A Timeshare Broker. She is very professional, low key and stays in good communication with you. I'd recommend if you are interested in resales that you register with a broker as to your wants since resales come and go very quickly.
