I just closed on a resale contract and did not have to pay a fee to wire money. Maybe I have a good bank. There was also no notary requirement virtually or in person at least on the buyer side. Broker was vacation club life and title company mason title. Both were fine.

Yes the wire fee is totally dependent upon your bank.

TRCS title co also accepts Zelle for final payments which saves on wire fees.

Just so you are aware, The owners of thise site who decide what to filter and what not are not DVC.

Even mods aren’t privy to these decisions.

Seller has the notary requirement. I did not need a notary for my purchase.

As a buyer I also did not require a notary, but on my finalized documents I see a notary stamp for the sellers.

For the DVC resorts in Florida the only time a buyer has to notarize documents is if they are financing their purchase w/ a mortgage.
The sellers, OTH, do have to have their documents notarized.

Mason has gone downhill since Cammy left

I’ve used Mason three times since Cammy left. No issues; they’ve always been great for me. I used Cammy once and that was the only contract where I had an issue. To be fair, I’m not sure if the issue was Cammy or the sales agent, but I decided I wouldn’t use either again.
