Resale Broker

Interesting, my broker got filtered, so I guess they're one of the verboten, which... doesn't surprise me. It's been an uninspiring experience, but whatever, we're closed, we own the thing. Once the point show up, I'll be leaving a review for sure on their website.
Unfortunately some of the unfiltered ones are just as bad.

Filtered doesnt mean bad. Nobody knows why certain brokers are filtered. But it does suck that it's filtered because now we dont know who you had a not so great experience with.

Mine is filtered and I thought they were great. From what I can tell, filtered or unfiltered doesn't seem to make a difference in purchasing.

I’m sure the censoring has no bearing on the quality of their work. Just some other ego crap that we all have to sneak around in other sites to talk about. lol

Just FYI, in terms of DVC , I've never seen a resale listed as "Hot Deal" that was actually a hot deal. Most of them, stripped to the bone, might be better described as a hot mess.
I refer to them as luke warm deals. Better than most of the overpriced listing on the board sponsor site, but usually just ok deals. Speaking of conflicting interest, the board sponsor is definitely the biggest offender there. The closing costs for their title company also seem the highest.

And they do not include an additional $150 for virtual notary and $35 for bank wire of the money from the sale.

Does the site sponsor make you use their title company? One thing I have liked about Fidelityrealsestate.com is that they really did not seem to care that I wanted to pick my own title company - maybe I just had a good broker. When I told them which broker I wanted to use (Masontitle.com), the broker was like, oh, they are excellent. And, so far, they certainly have been.

They certainly push their own title company (Magic Vacations Title) on buyers who know no different. But if you push them to use your own they usually let you. My experience with Magic Vacation Title has been absolutely brutal. They are also the most expensive compared to Mason and DVC Title and Escrow. Most expensive and poorest service doesn’t work for me but to each their own. Why anyone would pay more and believe their “point guarantee” is worth anything clearly doesn’t know how title companies complete their underwrite.

Mason is awesome. They are my favorite. Followed by DVC title and escrow.
