We will be visiting end of next month, first time overseas and first time using a large public transport system. We are going into Paris for one day and I got confused looking at their transportation site last night.

The A line into Paris, is that just one ticket out of the carnet we were planning on buying or is it involving zones that require more then one ticket and if so when do you present the extra tickets? Do we just buy destination tickets?

Thank you for bearing with me.

We got a 5 zone ticket to paris for 15.20 euro return but you could use it all day and it was good for everywhere we wanted to go.

Yes as mentioned the best ticket to get for a day in Paris is the Mobilis ticket. This will get you to Paris and return and unlimited use of metro for that day.
You just buy this at the ticket office and will cost approx 15Euros per person

When you mentioned a carnet of tickets is this for use in central paris? If so you won't need them if you get the mobilis.
If you are getting them to travel between disney and another station close by they won't cover you for the trip into Paris and you would need a separate ticket
