requests with DVC

Can I request things with DVC such as rooms close together, understanding (of course) it is only a request? If so, how do I go about making that request prior to arrival?

I'd make those requests as early as possible - even when making the reservation. Requests made by groups with more than one room do have a priority at DVC resorts and the resort will try to honor those requests. Getting rooms "close" together could mean next to each other or in the same building or near but on different floors. When making such requests, it's usually best not to get too specific and list the requests in order of importance.

If it's most important to be near each other, I would make that request first and then secondary requests - like upper floor or s specific view - afterwards.

You would call member services to make your request. DVC does not accept faxes or phone calls to the resort.

Keep in mind that what DVC member services considers close together and what we consider close together might be a bit different. I requested rooms next to each other if possible, and got rooms on different floors on opposite sides of the same building. It was fine, but not next door.
