Requests for medical reasons?

DD3 has asthma and multiple meds. We need a fridge and nonsmoking room. Checking the net, it looks like ASMU is a capacity while we're there. I made the requests and said med. reasons when I made our ressies. Should I fax my requests again. Should I bring a note from our doctor. We've got an appointment next week, so it wouldn't be a huge hassle. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

If you requested a non-smoking room for medical reasons, you WILL get a non-smoking room. However, it may not be at your resort. We were booked to be in the Movies this July with the request for a guaranteed non-smoking room for medical reasons and when we checked in (or tryed) we found out that there were no non-smoking rooms available (somehow I thought it would be held for us--what was I thinking) and were informed that we were now staying at the A/S Sports. Not my first choice, but in order to get a non-smoking room, this is where we went. So, not to worry. I heard that you get the frig for FREE when it's for medical reasons. Hopefully this was the case for you too, if not, you should look into it. My co-workers' family was in WDW this summer and one of their children has serve food allegies and got, not only the frig for free, but they also had a microwave in their room for free too. Their child can not eat anything except certain prepared foods so Disney was very accommodating to their needs. Have fun, we'll be there soon too--but staying at Dixie Landing this trip.
