Requesting specific rooms?

When staying at Port Orleans, has anyone ever requested a specific room? My husband and I are traveling with another couple and will be staying in two royal rooms. We want to have them connecting and be close to the east depot bus stop. I just realized how needy we sound!

2 requests is not needy. I would call the Main Reservations Line with both confirmation numbers and ask the phone CM to link them together as "traveling with" in the System. Then add 2 requests to each reservation "connecting with xxx party" and "close to east bus stop".

@dansdad has it exactly right.

People should never request specific room numbers. If that room isn't available because somebody else is staying there the room assigner doesn't know what's important to you. By doing it the way the PP said, you give the room assigner the maximum flexibility to meet your needs.
