Requesting specific room at GC

We would specifically like to book a standard room at the GC with the daybed. Is their any rooms that are better than others? Any recommendations for room numbers? TIA

From my understading you cannot book specific rooms - or even specific room configurations - but parties of 5 will get the daybed first if they are available. The two times we have stayed there we have been a party of 5 and have received the daybed. It looks like you will be there with 5, if for some reason not, I would claim to have an extra person in my suitcase

Yup all 5 will be there. Do I have to request a room with a daybed or do they automatically get saved for families of five?

It wouldn't hurt to ask - but I believe they are automatically given to the families of five (again, pending availability). We never asked for one the two times we were there and did get the daybed both times!

We have always asked for a room in a specific range (302-322 Resort View) and have always managed to get it. There is a map in one of the sticky posts that shows the GC room layout. I am not sure which rooms are standard view. I am sure if you ask for a specific room in an area that is standard they will try to get it for you.
