Requesting Rooms???

I am staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort and know that it is very large. Is it worth it to request a certain room? Which place is the best to request overall?

I have heard a lot about Martinique, Jamaica, and Trinidad North..

Martinique is where we were and it was close to everything.

Trinidad North and Martinique are preferred locations costing extra nightly. Jamaica or Aruba is a good location if you don't want to pay for preferred.
