Requesting POR building

We are staying at POR for our visit this year. I was thinking of requesting a room closer to the food court area(maybe building 14?) Las time we stayed there we were very far away (building 35 I think). When do you go about requesting a building? I already booked the trip, just wasn't sure if I should have requested it then or later.

You should call now and have it noted on your reservation... I'm pretty sure they assign rooms a few days before check-in. I requested AB 14,15 or 18... I got 24 or something, but it wasn't bad! A short walk, but it was fine.

Who do we call for requests? CRO or the resort?

As a PP mentioned, you need to call and make sure your request is noted on the ressie.
