requesting loop sight

HI everyone

we have not camped at FW in eons.. (our last trip was 2 yrs ago off park .. will NEVER do that again) I made our reservations for October for a site with fullhooks ups ( no cable) The DH has a question about satellite dishes.. 1: can you use them? I personally would love to have NO tv for a week but I don't think the kids can go with out.. yes even dad Should I call back and request a certain loop? or just go with what ever they give us?
The last time we were there we had a pop up.. (we have a 30 foot TT )and were right by the comfort station in the loop by the beach.

We are really looking forward to this trip.. have tickets for halloween party at MK ! debating on weither or not to get hopper passes for 4 days.

We were just there in May in the 1100 loop and could not pick up a sat. signal. However, our "neighbor" informed us that a camper just across from us did get a signal. We were on the side of the loop with too many trees. I have seen several folks on our visits that have theirs out and they were on the outer edge of the loop without alot of trees in their way. Although we could not get a signal we left our portable dish sitting out by the camper and were never asked not to use it by the CM's so I guess there is not a policy against it. Next trip I am getting a preferred site w/ cable (I don't know why really because this time we will have AP's and never be at the camper; last time was strictly a camping trip)
