Requesting a room

has anyone ever requested a room? Not neccessarily a specific room number but we are going @ the same time as my brother and his family. We have booked @ the same resort. I wondered what are chances of staying at rooms close to each other would be?

Call Disney and have them cross reference the reservations- they'll put "traveling with booking #......." in each reservation so they know you are together.

It's not guaranteed, but you can certainly request it.

You should always ask. Both of you should call and mention the others reservations and request to be near each other. All requests of any kind made on a disney reservation are just that, a request. They do not often promise you that you will get what you ask for, but it's always better to ask.
