it's been 3 years since i last visited the mouse (i can't believe the day is almost here!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:)

I know several people here are MUCH MUCH MUCH more organised than i am and have a packing/travel list they follow for their trips..

if you can, i'd really appreciate it if you posted it...

of course, i know i'm not going to the moon and there are stores there, but i don't want to forget anything crucial!!

thanks in advance!!! :goodvibes

Remember when using an ultimate style packing list that it is usually designed to cover a broad spectrum of people and their various needs. Dont get caught in the trap of feeling like you MIGHT need everything on there or you will be better off upgrading to upper class for the extra luggage allowance.

I haven't looked at the lists posted but I tell you what I always take that is usually not on them: 2 tea towels and some J-Cloths/washing up sponges pre-soaked in a strongish Fairy liquid solution, then dried out. We use refillable mugs a lot and the little cold water spray tap thingy at the foodcourts does not get all the gunk out. I hate when my water tastes like root beer :rotfl:

Unscented baby wipes are also a must for me as they remove make-up, wipe sticky hands and faces and even lift stains out of clothes if you act quickly after a spill.

A few packs of laundry tablets are also great although we tend to buy clothes there rather than wash so enough for one load a week usually sorts us out.

that reminds me - i was thinking of taking these nice little pre-packaged stain removal cloths....i'm putting that down....i thought of that today at lunch, when dessert somehow found its way onto my shirt

Isn't it funny how food sometimes does that .... and it seems to have a preference for landing on very clean spots too :rolleyes1

Hey Beth, did you get packed?

Remember to check all the silly little things - you are more likely to leave travel adapters, batteries and phone chargers behind than clean socks and underwear. I had no idea that you were leaving so soo when you posted this. Shows I wasn't paying attention to your ticker. :upsidedow

i changed my tickers so it's more obvious..

i'm still packing....well 'still' sounds as if i've been doing it forever..
i got my computer bag packed, and my handbag is ready (with passport/list/insurance info etc)
oh...better add some more cash into it...i'll do that right now...

i've been working on my suitcase and carry on - i'm taking a carry on and a computer bag....hope it's not a problem..

it won't be a problem for the first flight - i'm business class...
but i'm in cattle class from new york down to orlando....and delta usually are pretty set in their ways...we shall see...

Does Delta not honour your allowance from your main flight? Torsie will know.

not if you're switching classes, which i am...

i just finished packing - it's 4 am...i wonder if i forgot anything..

my suitcase was so empty, i stuffed it with old sheets and towels that need to be thrown away (really ragged stuff that should have been tossed long ago)...

i hate having to carry all those liquids in the suitcase...terrible...
since we're coming back in december, i'm going to sign up with owners locker and get rid of all that stuff......

I'm suprised that the person who wrote the ultimate list can lift her case!!!! Helpful list though, thanks x

arent all american vans the size of our removal vans??:rotfl2:
