Request for room?

When should you make request for a room? Before you go or just wait till you get there?

You can have any requests added to your reservation ahead of time by calling central reservations. You can always ask again at check in.

Last year our group sent out a fax prior to our trip. I read this suggestion on another website. Sadly when we got there that request didn't even seem to exist...we had requested a specific building in the Cabana's at CSR. Upon arrival we were given a room in the Casitas. We asked if such builiding in Cabana was available. Oh sure!

Perhaps the fax wasn't received but it was the start to a very difficult check-in. We won't be staying at CSR again.

The last two times I have travled in value season I just asked at check-in and they were able to help me with my requests. It probably wouldn't hurt to have it noted in your reservations though if it is a request you would really like to try for
