Request for jtanddolly Chip and Dale Grand Welcome

I love your Grand Welcome designs and well I was wondering if you could do one for me....

Would you be able to do a Chip and Dale Themed Grand Welcome with the banner, candy wrappers, welcome letter, and everything in between. We are taking the kids in April 2011 for Spring Break. We are camping at the Fort Wilderness Camp Ground and I have been trying to figure out how to do the Grand Welcome since we will be staying in our camper and this would be great. I could decorate the inside of the camper with the Chip and Dale Welcome Banner and all the extras before we go. Once we arrive the kids could see the inside of the camper and get their welcome packages I have been working on.

If your interested in the work I would be very happy. If not I understand too. Thanks in advance for what ever you decided.

I started my own blog designing party and wedding stationary printables for others as I have so enjoyed all of the work that I have done for others on the DISBoards. Putting together a grand welcome is a lot of work.

I am still doing little things here and there on the DISBoards as I can't use Disney images on my blog with things that I make for others. Unfortunately with my new venture, I don't have the hours to put into making a new grand welcome and have time for my little one.

You could use the striped banner and then maybe make your own banner with chip and dale images to match. You could make a "welcome letter" with chip and dale images, and use fun scrapbooking paper to make bag toppers for fun gifts.

So glad you like them! I have missed making Disney things...so I took today to make a few for you. I added a few blank banners so that you can add letters and two with Chip and Dale. I also added a "smores kit" bag topper since you can roast smores at the "Chip 'n Dale" Sing Along, and a water bottle wrapper. I hope the colors aren't too plain.

You could make a similar one for your family or put a kit in a ziploc bag and use the "Smores Bag Topper" I made to hang it over a hanger.

When you dress up the camper for the "grand welcome" consider leaving acorns and/or nuts all over the floor and around the gifts since that is what Chip 'n Dale collect and eat. They will be the proof that Chip 'n Dale left the gifts.

I was wondering if I could bother you again with something. I went back to read the details of the Disney Mickey Grand Welcome and Disney Mickey Grand Birthday and I noticed that the gifts are not just left by Mickey but by the other characters too. I found your Welcome Tags from Daisy, Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald which I printed and I have my letter from Chip and Dale.

I have one BIG Welcome Gift Basket for each child. I also have a small (about the size of a brown paper lunch sake) bag that is made to "LOOK" like each of the above Characters. I'm going to tie your Welcome Tags onto the bags - now here is where I was hoping to bother you again.

From Mickey I have a Hidden Mickey Book inside the bag. From Goofy I have a Coupon for Goofy's Candy Shop. From Pluto I have the Lanyard (like the Grand Welcome it says this is the "Human Collar" like pluto would wear). From Chip I have the Smore's Kit that you made for me. From Dale I have some Chix Mix using your Bag Topper you created for me. From Minnie I thought I would do a Hershey Bar with a Minnie Wrapper.

I can't think of anything to but inside the bags from Donald and Daisy. The Grand Welcome says Donald does something Quacky and there are white feathers. I can do the feathers but what to use as Quacky. Also, what could Daisy leave that is both for a girl and a boy? If you have any ideas I would greatly appreciate it. First, where are you finding the cute sayings for each of the characters? I wasn't sure if it was on the "Grand Welcome" thread or the Disney website for their "Grand Welcome" gift list. It has been such a long time since I worked on the Grand Welcome, I can't remember.

From Donald you could leave "quackers" (i.e crackers), or a book of jokes that will "really quack you up", or a set of playing cards and a card with directions for a funny magic trick.

From Daisy you could leave something fun for the bathtub as ducks love to swim. Go to a Dollar Tree and see what fun bath things you can find.

I hope you will post pics of all your things once you are done with your Grand Welcome. I know everyone would love to see what you have made and get ideas for their trips!

I got all my first ideas from reading the detailed description of the packages done by Disney. It says on their web site what is inside each package left by the characters. They only use Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald - not Daisy. Also, with Donald it doesn't say in detail what is in the box - just that it's Quacky and you know it's him because of the white feathers. It tells you that Pluto leaves a Crispy Treat in the shape of a Bone (for humans of course) in a bowl on a pluto place mate and a lanyard like his collar.

I'm using your Welcome Tags in your share folder under Grand Welcome. That's way I decided to do Daisy because you have a tag from her.

I love your ideas. I just knew you would have some. You are very creative. I can expand on an idea - like taking the Grand Welcome from Disney and adding my own little touch - CHIP and DALE (with your help of course).

I do want to post pictures when I am all done. I just saw that the rest of the designs I have requested have been completed so my goal is to print everything this weekend. It will take another few weeks to get it all in order but I hope to be completely done by the end of this month.

I'm going WAY over board but I know that it will be another 5 to 7 years before we get to go again and by then my son will have out grown a lot of this. In fact my 10 year-old niece who is going with us is already made a few comments that she is TOO OLD for some of the things I have mentioned.

Anyway, THANK YOU again for helping me out. Everyone on the board has been so wonderful.

You might get rubber ducks as one of the bath toys. Usually you can find them in the baby section of walmart for $1.00.

I don't mind at all. I love reading everyone's ideas. I could not have made all the things I have with out them. Thanks for the info. I don't have one of those stores, however, I'm going to do some looking at our local stores.

I did find a few things at Amazon that I ordered last night. I found a Donald Duck Funnie Clips DVD for about $7.00 and Daisy Lip Gloss for $2.49 (I think). If anyone else sees this and wants to share ideas please do.
