I hope this is okay to post this here. If anyone is looking for an immediate way to help Katrina victims, this message was just sent out from the Assistant Dean at the College that I work at (University of Illinois College of Medicine). This is a legitimate request, so if anyone can help, I'm sure it will be appreciated.

YOUR INDIVIDUAL HELP IS NEEDED NOW!
Please purchase a box of baby diapers or cans of baby formula or any
of the items on the supply list below, put a shipping label on it and
ship it directly to the Louisiana State University at the address
shown. Mark it "Katrina Relief".
The Student Health Center at LSU in Baton Rouge has set up a
makeshift medical facility in the campus field house. They have been
working around the clock caring for the sick and injured victims of
Katrina, but they are in desperate need of supplies NOW!
Supplies requested are:
Diapers (especially size 5-6) URGENT
Baby Formula - URGENT
Wheelchairs - URGENT
Pillow Cases & Sheets- URGENT
Baby Wipes
Bottled Water

Boost or Ensure

Depends undergarments
